A recent study done by Chinese scientists found that iMOS had the antifatigue and immunoregulatory effects. This work was carried out by Tianjin Inst. of Industrial Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Key Laboratory for Bioactive Material and Functional Food of Beijing, Beijing Union University. The paper was published in the Journal of Food Science.
As we know, irregular and long time work schedule not only makes people feel fatigue, but also brings great risks of diseases, due to gastrointestinal disorder and immune dysfunction. In the recent published paper, it showed that iMOS could alleviate physical fatigue by prolonging exhaustive time, improving the level of superoxide dismutases (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px). The results suggested that our product had immunoregulatory, and antifatigue effects, providing its application potential in functional food aimed at people with irregular and long time work.
